ECHO VALLEY RANCH BIRDING TRAVEL PACKAGE
Echo Valley's Birding packages, offered only in April, provide a terrific
opportunity to photograph, observe and learn about a wide variety of
raptors-Red-tailed hawks, Peregrine falcons and Osprey-as well as birding
for other species that call the Cariboo home.
The EVR Rapturous Raptors package includes:
Falcon training demonstrations
Visiting the nesting area of the Great Grey Owl
Viewing the nest of the Golden Eagle
Guided Marsh Walk to view various species of birds that reside
and/or migrate near the region's creeks and waterways
Birding in the landscapes of desert sage brush and the Fraser Canyon

Ruesri dat ton lessons: An easy-to-learn, gentle Thai stretching class, based on ancient Thai practices and new in North America. Lessons offered every morning; suitable for all age groups and abilities
Cooking and nutrition tips: Master Chef Kim Madsen is available throughout the day with useful advice concerning cooking, special diets and nutrition
Ranch around: Help with the ranch animals (collect eggs, feed the horses); enjoy roping and horse training demonstrations; practice 'horse shoes' and challenge the champs
Wireless Internet access
Unguided walks/hikes are numerous and range from easy nature trails to difficult walks as well as three-hour mapped hikes
Planned evening entertainment: Thai Night (Thursday) featuring authentic Thai food and traditional Thai dancing.

Connections options from Vancouver to Echo Valley Ranch include charter flights direct to the ranch; scheduled connector flights to Kamloops with transfers from Kamloops to the ranch; chauffeur driven limousine from Vancouver; and self drive. Please ask reservations for details
Arrival times at the ranch: 2:30 PM. Check out time 11:00 AM. Flight departure times from Vancouver 1:30 PM, from the ranch 2:45 PM (arrive Vancouver 4:00PM)

The 10% service charge is paid as a gratuity to our staff. It is intentionally less than would be charged by other facilities so that you may have the option to pay more if you consider the service you received during your stay with us to be outstanding.
